Thaman has emerged the hottest composers in the industry today. He has now announced that he will be bringing out a non-film album with his band Thakkali.
The band titled Thakkali (tomato) features his friends including playback singersRanjith, Rahul Nambiar and Naveen Madhav.
'We have grown up in Chennai and are all foodies. And Thakkali is something is used in most dishes. Most importantly, we think the word has a definite ring to it. And, we also felt very positive about this name.'
The band has finished recording one song and is currently working on three more.
