Actress -turned-politician Kushboo is back to do a television serial after a brief interval. She will play the lead role in Paartha Nyabagam Illaiyo that airs on Kalaignar TV.
'It was a self-imposed sabbatical since I wanted a break. I was writing a script and it took me some time to complete it. It is a different genre - an experimental one in the Tamil telly scene'.
Talking about her role in the serial, she says, 'It is a suspense thriller. Unlike other soaps where the lead lady is subjected to humiliation when she enters her in-laws’ house, hereOviya, the character played by me, comes to her mother-in-law’s place to create problems'.
